I am a working class, US Navy Submarine Force veteran, county school and community college graduate, community organizer, advocate, and activist, parent, and neighbor. I have dedicated my life to service and I will continue to be the unrelenting voice fighting for us on the Broadway Town Council.
After honorably serving our nation onboard 5 submarines and multiple tours overseas, I wanted nothing more than to return to my friends and family in the Valley. My children attend school here in Broadway, I tend my gardens, I volunteer, and work tirelessly to make my community stronger, more welcoming, and more prosperous everyday. I know the challenges that residents of Broadway are facing because I face them right alongside you.

Everyone deserves a fair chance to succeed. I fight each and every day to ensure that our community is advancing towards meeting these bedrock principles.
Economic
Development
We have to continue to enhance downtown as a vibrant cultural arts destination, support the creation of other culturally-engaging destinations in our town, and pursue policies that help entrepreneurs and locally owned businesses to thrive, expand and diversify our tax base.
Access to
Affordable Housing

Prioritize implementation of a comprehensive affordable housing strategy, including incorporating a multi-pronged approach that increases access to ownership and rentals. Also, explore new and creative approaches to retain and expand our supply of housing for all income ranges as the community grows.
Comprehensive land use and transportation planning
Emphasize smart growth, preservation of existing neighborhoods, and increase bike and pedestrian connectivity. Continue to participate in regional transportation planning and incentivize alternatives to driving.
Environmental
Protection
Preserve open spaces, expand our greenways, and ensure that new development includes sufficient stream buffers and does not exacerbate flooding and erosion along our creeks and rivers. I am committed to working with representatives in the green energy sector to find creative solutions to increase energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. I support the effort to bring renewable and environmentally friendly energy sources to preserve the natural beauty and resources of our home in the Shenandoah Valley and make Broadway the leader in sustainable, cost effective renewable energy.
